Nemesis: First All-Electric Vehicle to Break the Land Speed Record

Dale Vince is one of the Britain’s richest green founder and entrepreneur of green energy supplier Ecotricity (an energy provider which invests profits into wind turbines). He aims to break the land speed record in an all-electric car called the Nemesis.
Nemsis has been designed by Formula 1 engineers, costing about £400,000. According to the officials, during tests, the vehicle reach 60mph in less than four seconds, having an operating range of about 150mph. The Dale Vince electric car can be powered in one hour from a high charge or eight hours from the mains supply.
Called the ‘first wind-powered car’, Nemesis has been powered by the electricity generated from wind. Dale Vince declared to a newspaper that with this all-electric vehicle he will will break the land speed record set by Don Wales in August 2000.
