United States’ First Hydrokinetic Turbine Installed in Mississippi River

In the Mississippi River was installed the United States’ first commercial hydrokinetic turbine which harnesses power from moving water. This turbine has a production capacity of 35 kilowatt being situated downstream from an existing hydroelectric-plant dam.
