Tesla will launch in 2012 a series production for the first 100% electric car

tesal-model-s-teaser-1The Tesla Motors producer plans to launch a series production of 20,000 units / year in 2012 for the most recent version, Model S, the first 100% electric car.

Tesla officials said that the company wants to find resources to build a factory where to be produce the vehicle, capable to reach 100 km / h in 6 seconds, with a battery autonomy between 260 and 480 km.

The analysts said that Model S can be a great success in the markets where fuel is expensive, and in the context in which the price for this model is about 57,000 dollars those who will buy an electric car will be exempt from fee of thousands of dollars.

Tesla will launch the Model S in Europe in 2012 but nobody knows what future will have, especially that are many producers  seeking to develop electric cars, thing which would influence the eventual market share of the new model.
