Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, the new ED (Electric Drive) concept from Brabus (a tuning company), is a classy electric car, suggestively named Smart Fortwo. The lithium-ion battery and the electric motor are provided by the Tesla Motors, which are in partnership with Daimler, the owner of Smart. In just 3 hours, 80% of the battery can be recharged and to fully juice it take about 8 hours off.
Other performances include reaching 100 km/h (60 mph) in just under 10 seconds, with the help from the 82 HP electric motor that develops 207 pound per feet (280 Nm) of torque. The model represents a adaptation of the concept presented in March this year, at the Geneva Motor Show. The aerodynamic design and the stylish white interior cover make it a environmentalist wanna-have’s.
The convertible environmentally-friendly car, also features a LED that lights during daytime and a very interesting sound generator, that can make the electric motor sound like the one of a real SUV or a sport car. If you really wanna impress your new girlfriend with your car, you can try the space ship soundboard. That will surely give you a bonus
